The Responsibility Chart

This is a shot at a table of the milestones and responsibilities we created at the June SFO meeting of the Core Team. I basically took Mike's Milestone Plan and Responsibility Chart (see the San Francisco Meeting page) and tried to create an on line editable way of tracking what he has there. You'll notice that I've also tried to use the Goal Director codes, especially in the Others Involved category.

I had to make some guesses about start and end times, even left some as question marks, so feel free to make modifications and additions--just let us know what you changed, maybe in an email. For example, I'm not sure who was contacting Phoenix and Tim Hedger for the Bay Area database, so I just put question marks there. I also eliminated the items we had that related to Betsy, which now seem moot. I am noticing that some of our final work may not have made it into the milestones--e.g., the branding work we did and that Cheryl has taken the lead on. That should be added. There are undoubtedly others. Anyway, this is a start!

You can relatively easily edit this table. You will need to register on the site first, at the bottom of the home page (WebHome). Then click on Edit (bottom of this page or top right), make your changes, and then click Save at page bottom. You can Preview first to see what you did, if you want.

To add a row (e.g., to put the branding piece in), put your cursor (in Edit mode) at the end of the last line (row) of data (in this case, the "Course Delivered" line), and hit return. Then follow the pattern of the existing rows, starting and ending each "box" with the straight vertical line (usually found just below your backspace key). Enter your text between these. Take a moment or two to study the layout as you see it in Edit mode, and you can pick up on the way it's done pretty easily.

If you mess up, go back into Edit and try again. You learn Foswiki by doing.
