In 1989, the Chicago office of the ICA, along with its colleagues across the Midwest USA, engaged in one of the first ever research projects using the technique known as "Appreciative Inquiry". The ICA enjoyed the collaboration with Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH, and its staff, notably David Cooperrider, seen by many as the "founder" of the AI methodology. The article that is linked below was written by Jim Troxel, a member of the staff involved with the project at that time.
