The Geneva Offices

These were very familiar to anyone around during the 60s and 70s. While the longer Daily Office marked the beginning of our day, these would often be used in the weekly Ecclesiola to mark the ending of the day and on other occasions by task groups. If memory serves me correctly, they were given this name because they were created by the Institute staff (fairly few in number at the time) at a retreat in Lake Geneva, WI during this first year after the move to Chicago. This one is labeled "LC-1" at the bottom, which makes me think it may have been the first of the series.
