Caring For Those Who Care

J W Mathews originally drew this image in 1977 to illustrate the task of the “Third Campaign” (the first two being our work on Town Meeting and the second being our work on Social Demonstration). He claimed that we would be about this task when a critical mass of people was doing the awakenment and demonstration tasks. We would then turn to the task of providing for “Caring for Those Who Care” (Wayside Inn network). The Training would be in equipping people with methods of social change effectiveness, Nurture would be enabling the deeps to be able to stand in the task and Community is the networking or Movement that is what we are pointing to as the Guild.
