The diagram we used to illustrate the basic dynamics of the church was a diamond or an oval with four "legs"--hence the nickname, the "bug model." Here is Joe Slicker, refering to it on the blackboard as he opens a talk on "The Justing and Witnessing Task of the Church." I believe I recorded this talk some time in the 1966-1969 time frame; my tape is labeled but unfortunately undated.
